Women’s Recovery Center

February 22, 2016

Although the Lighthouse Recovery Center has both male and female clients, women and men are in separate locations so that each can focus on the individualized treatment needed. We find that women have different challenges when they come into recovery. With these challenges in mind, we design a treatment plan that will give the individual the best opportunity to recover.

The post Women’s Struggle to Recover discusses some challenges in more details. The goal is to identify their specific challenges so the clinician and client can work together on solution. Solutions that support their moral and spiritual growth in recovery. Women find the help they need to push through these challenges so they are prepared when they leave treatment and return home. They feel empowered when they encounter these challenges with the support they have found in recovery.

Our Women’s Recovery Center helps them develop a support group that is positive and supportive so that they can feel comfortable expressing their concerns while in treatment and after they leave.  Our Women’s Recovery Center also realizes that drugs can often mask an eating disorder. Lighthouse Recovery Centers incorporates eating disorder treatment if is appropriate. Working in an individual and group setting to address the eating disorder during their time in our Recovery Center.
