Levels of Care

We are able to offer different treatment levels of care to each of our clients.  Clients are access to determine the appropriate level of care. This determination is generally based on medical complications, acuity of the detox symptoms and past treatment history. As patients move along the path of recovery, they can step-down among the levels of care within Lighthouse Recovery Center’s comprehensive service offerings, including Inpatient, Residential, Intensive Outpatient and general Outpatient programming. Stepping down to levels of care with more independence helps patients protect their recovery as they reconnect with their lives outside of treatment by testing their skills while still in an environment of structure and support.

Detoxification (Detox)

Providing this level of care at our treatment facility requires the client to visit a doctor prior to entering the facility. Once a medical professional has determined a detox plan for the client they are monitored during this process by our staff. The staff will take the clients vitals constantly during this process and communicate with the doctor during the detox. Usually this level of care is one of the most difficult. Clients are uncomfortable and begin to feel the consequences of their drug abuse. Clients are stepped down gradually to help them through this process.

Residential/Inpatient

The residential level of care is the next step in the treatment process. As soon as they are able to leave detox they can begin treatment in an inpatient facility. Clients having been assigned a counselor upon arrival at our facility will begin to work with the client individually.  After they have been assessed by clinician they will be assigned daily groups that will focus on specific topics that will help them in their recovery.

Clients are given access to phone and internet during this period so they can start the process of reconnecting with loved ones. Family groups are generally setup during this period of treatment and both begin to see their roles in the recovery process.
