Derrick Fortune

Derrick Fortune has worked in the counseling field for the last 20 years providing services to different populations throughout the San Fernando Valley. He has dedicated his life to helping alcoholics and addicts who struggle with understanding addiction and find it difficult to make life changes in order to stay sober. As a product of the 12 step program, he has over 20 years of sobriety and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to treating individuals struggling with substance use disorder.

Mr. Fortune is certified with the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor-Certified Addiction Specialist (CADC-CAS). In addition to his Certification as an Certified Addiction Specialist Mr. Fortune went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Counseling at the University of Phoenix Woodland Hills Campus.
